Aaron Mokoena (no.4) is our captain and plays defender. He was called up at the age of seventeen to join the National Team Squad. He currently plays for Portsmouth. He is the country’s most capped player with 101 caps to his name.

We all know of Matthew Booth (no.14) and wife, Sonia (a former Miss SA first princess), due to LG’s campaign featuring them. Matthew was born in Fish Hoek and has a home in the Peninsula. He’s a defender currently playing for Mamelodi Sundowns. He made his debut for South Africa in 1999. Due to his height, he is considered one of the most important players when meeting opponents with tall players. He’s the oldest player in the squad at 33.

Siyabonga “Bhele” Nomvethe (no.18) is our highest goal scorer with 16 goals and the one to watch together with Katlego Mphela (no.9) who has scored 15.

Our first game is at 16:00 on 11 June. The next match is in Pretoria against Uruguay at 20:30 on 16 June and thereafter we’re playing France in Bloem at 16:00 on 22 June.
