Sugaring

It’s called sugaring because it’s a type of sugar paste that’s used to remove hair. It’s a great altervative to waxing as it’s not nearly as painful. Wax adheres to the skin and the hair to remove the hair, while sugaring only penetrates the hair follicle and doesn’t stick to your skin at all. You’ll experience a little bit of redness after sugaring on your face, while your legs, bikini area & underarms will have little red spots where the hair came out. This usually goes away within an hour. Hair only needs to be 3mm long to remove it with sugaring. So, instead of waiting 4 weeks to wax legs, bikini area & underams you could do sugaring every 2 weeks. If you regularly sugar hair that’s 3mm long, it’ll lead to permancy far quicker than with waxing as you’re damaging the hair while in it’s active growth phase.
