Eyelash extensions

Individual semi-permanent Luscious Lashes™ Eyelash Extensions. We attach a synthetic eyelash to one of your own eyelashes repeating this procedure until you have a full set of thicker and / or longer eyelashes or a half set of longer lashes. You could face the world without wearing any mascara and still look gorgeous for weeks.

How long do they last?

Everybody’s eyelashes has a growth cycle of between 6 weeks and 3 months which influences how long the extensions last. Ideally an extension should only fall out once your own eyelash falls out. But, if you sleep with your face in the pillow and/or rub your eyes, the bond of the extension to your eyelash can be damaged which results in the extension coming loose from your eyelash. Some clients come back for fills 2 weeks after the initial work, while others wait 2 months - it’s a personal choice, just like how long to wait in between hair colour treatments.

Fills are charged dependent on loss and will be explained during first session.

Contact lenses shouldn’t be worn during treatment.

After treatment you shouldn’t wet your eyes for a minimum of 10 hours. To help your Luscious Lashes™ Eyelash Extensions last you must use oil-free eye make-up remover.

Does eyelash extension damage my own eyelashes?
Not at all. Wearing extensions won’t shorten or lessen the number of eyelashes you have. Many women believe this is so simply because they’d become so use to having thicker, longer lashes while wearing the extensions. The extensions are glued to your lash and no harm is done to the root or hair follicle. Where extensions are done badly and clients pull their eyelashes out, the eyelash will grow back as normal. Extensions done well should feel and look natural and when this is done, clients have nothing to worry about.
